Welcome to Southview Grand!
Moving into a new environment can be quite stressful. We at Southview Grand are here to help you make your transformation as smooth as possible.
In order to help you with your move in, we have made a list of what we think may be helpful suggestions.
While moving or renovating, all materials and furniture will be brought in through our delivery entrance, 3021 30th St. SE; nothing is to come through our front doors.
Are you planning on renovating? Renovations are to be properly permitted and completed by qualified trades people. Please provide us with a list of your proposed changes. Supply us with contact names of your contractors. Provide dates and time they will be working on your condo. We allow construction noise only between 8 AM and 8 PM.
Please notify us prior to moving in (A week in advance) so we can put moving blankets in the elevator and arrange the use of our elevator key.
We would love to hear from you to officially welcome you to our building.
Some common questions new residents have are as follows:
Where & when do we dispose of our trash?
There are garbage chutes located on each floor by the elevators. We ask that no garbage be sent down on Tuesday and Friday mornings between 7 and 10 as the garbage bins are being emptied at this time.
Where can we put what recycles?
Refundable bottles, cans, juice boxes and liquor bottles are to be rinsed out and placed in the appropiate bin next to the garbage chute. Washed milk jugs and cartons may be placed in the bin located in the parking garage. Cardboard, paper, metal and plastic can be placed in the large dumpster in the parking garage.
If we have concerns, complaints, compliments, how do we advise the board?
Paper forms located on the board in the lobby may be filled out and placed in the mail slot in the office. Emergency phone numbers are placed there too.
Where do we access moving trollies?
Furniture moving trollies are available in the work shop.
Do you could have more questions, we would love to provide you with answers. Let's get together!
